Pharmacy Quality Alliance (PQA) Academic Ambassadors are non-faculty individuals from member organizations who serve as “quality champions” for schools and colleges of pharmacy. Ambassadors serve as a resource for student pharmacists and faculty interested in quality improvement, performance measurement, and the transformation of the US healthcare system to a value‐based system.
To increase awareness of the pharmacy quality landscape within schools and colleges of pharmacy.
To educate faculty and students on quality measurement and performance measurement.
To share ways to work with other healthcare partners, and align improvement efforts with the National Quality Strategy.
