Purpose

Pharmacy Quality Alliance (PQA) Academic Ambassadors are non-faculty individuals from member organizations who serve as “quality champions” for schools and colleges of pharmacy. Ambassadors serve as a resource for student pharmacists and faculty interested in quality improvement, performance measurement, and the transformation of the US healthcare system to a value‐based system.

Program Objectives
  1. To increase awareness of the pharmacy quality landscape within schools and colleges of pharmacy.
  2. To educate faculty and students on quality measurement and performance measurement.
  3. To share ways to work with other healthcare partners, and align improvement efforts with the National Quality Strategy.
To Become an Ambassador
  1. Have an existing relationship with a school or college of pharmacy, or be willing to work on establishing such a relationship.
  2. Engage in various outreach activities with schools and colleges of pharmacy with whom you have a relationship.
