Manager, Performance Measurement and Research


Brianna DeWitty, MPH, is a Manager, Performance Measurement and Research at Pharmacy Quality Alliance (PQA). She assists the performance measurement team with measure development and maintenance through data management and analysis. She completed the MPH Practicum at PQA in 2022 and her work with disparities in the PQA Convenes environmental scans and literature reviews promotes equitable measure development. She continues to evaluates structural barriers and social determinants of health and how these factors affect the measurement quality landscape in support of the research team. 

Prior to joining PQA, Brianna worked in the healthcare setting for several years as both as medical scribe and certified nursing assistant in the emergency department, nursing home, and private medical practice settings. In 2021 she returned to University of North Carolina – Chapel Hill (UNC) to obtain her Master of Public Health. Her area of focus during this time was social epidemiology and she worked with the Department of Sociology to provide substance abuse prevention programming to middle school students. DeWitty obtained her Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Alabama.
