Registration for the 2014 PQA 9th Annual Meeting is now open! With an expected audience of close to 500 attendees, PQA’s 9th Annual Meeting & Best Practices Forum will take place at a new location...the Renaissance Capital View Hotel in Arlington, VA - just minutes from Reagan National Airport. The meeting will begin on Wednesday, May 28th and will conclude on Friday, May 30th at noon.
Healthcare executives from health plans, PBMs, community pharmacy, pharmaceutical research and technology companies, consumer advocacy, government agencies including CMS and the FDA, healthcare associations and academia, will come together to hear from healthcare experts on the state of the industry and to share thoughts and ideas on improving medication use and safety.

On May 28-30, 2013 in Washington, DC thought leaders, policy experts, government insiders, innovators and researchers within healthcare and the quality performance arena, came together at the PQA 8th Annual Meeting to share insights and ideas on medication use as it relates to quality performance, measurement and innovation in improving healthcare delivery and patient outcomes.
The meeting began with the Keynote Address followed by a welcoming reception. On Wednesday, PQA hosted the Quality Awards Recognition Program & Luncheon which recognized health plans that achieved excellence in medication quality and overall excellence in healthcare delivery to their patients based on the CMS Star Ratings. Thursday featured Best Practices and Lessons Learned sessions including insights from the Quality Award winners.
