Dr. David Nau, President, Pharmacy Quality Solutions, will provide an overview of the Medicare Part D performance measurement system including the Plan Ratings and display measures. He will also describe changes to the Plan Ratings for Contract Year 2015 and answer questions from the audience. This lecture is open to PQA members and 2014 workgroup appointees only and will take place October 30, 2014 from 1-2 PM (Eastern).
PQA will host the Leadership Summit on November 12, 2014 at the Omni Shoreham hotel in Washington, DC. PQA Board members, executives from member companies and PQA staff will come together around this year's theme "Collaborating for Better Patient Care: Integrating Medication Use Measures into Value-Based Systems" and share thoughts and ideas to help PQA solidify the plans and initiatives for the coming year. PQA Workgroups, Panels, and Task Forces meet by teleconference each month to meet their specific objectives. Participants contribute their expertise and ideas to the discussion and work towards consensus-based agreement on workgroup deliverables. PQA Launches Experiential Rotation Program for Fourth Year PharmD Students
In September 2014, PQA hosted its first Doctor of Pharmacy student, Paras Patel, a PharmD Candidate from the College of Pharmacy, Nova Southeastern University, Fort Lauderdale, Florida for a four-week experiential rotation in association management with an emphasis on quality.
